Understanding the Data Model for Vinton
To make the most of the data that Vinton collects, it's important to understand the data model behind it, so that you can apply it to flows and reports in Salesforce.
Audio Notes in the Nativevideo Admin Panel
Go to Nativevideo Admin → Audio Notes
You’ll see a list of Audio Notes that are in your Salesforce Org.
If you click on one of the Audio Notes, you’ll see a screen like the below. We can see details such as the audio note name, the audio file related to the note, who it was created by, owner, status and type.
Two important things to mention here:
Status: this can be READY, INIT or DELETED. The READY status means the note has been processed. More thoroughly that means that Vinton has completed the speech to text, post-processing and engaging with the GPT, so the note is ready in the Salesforce record. INIT means that it’s still processing. DELETED means a user has deleted the file from the Vinton Library and record pages. It can be moved back to READY by an Admin if required.
Type: this can be Voice Note, Video Call, In Person Meeting or Phone Call.
Take a look at the Related tab. When we view the Related records (see below) we can see the Audio Note Recipients. This indicates where the audio note is visible in Salesforce. In the below example we’d find this particular audio note in the records of the User, Luca Benini, the Contact, Catherine Nottagio, among others.
Sometimes a person might be invited to a call but isn’t found as match in Salesforce. In this situation we will still create an audio note recipient with the name and email retrieved from the meeting invitation.
We can also see the Audio Note Transcript, split out by timestamp.
Further down the same page, you’ll see User Feedback (if any was given), and Audio Note Events (these are logs of when someone joins a call, turns their camera on, shares their screen etc).
Media File Details
Returning to the Audio Note Details, you can click on the Media file name and view more details about the Media File.
You can see the video ID, the duration, video stats and other details.
Looking at the Related tab for this file, we discover more about this particular recording.
You’ll see Video Insights (which we cover in the next section), Video Events, Video Sessions and more.
Video Insights
You’ll see a link to Video Insights. Click on that and it shows you the Title, Summary and the Follow Up email.
Going to the Related tab for the Video Insight, you’ll see even more details, such as the Coaching Improvements, Topics, Highlight Outlines. You can click on each of those elements and drill-down to even more detail and data.
