Org-wide notetaker setup

 1. Create an email account for Vinton

  1. Create an email account in your Google Workspace or Microsoft account for Vinton.
    The account must have its own calendar and cannot be an alias.

  2. You can decide on the name for your Org-wide notetaker e.g. it could be Vinton Notetaker or [your company name] Notetaker.

 Nativevideo Admin setup

  1. Open the Nativevideo Admin Panel in an incognito window. You will be asked to log into Salesforce again. This will ensure that no previously connected accounts will affect the connection of our Vinton app to the calendar.

  2. From Nativevideo Admin, choose Vinton from the left menu.

  3. Select the Video Calls tab.

  4. Add the details for your Vinton notetaker. Add the Name and the Email Address you set up earlier.

  5. Click Update.

 Configure Vinton calls

  1. You’ll see a Configure Vinton Calls consent box. Tick to Consent to share data with AI services. This is so Vinton can transcribe and summarise your video calls.

  2. Next choose whether you’re connecting a Google or Microsoft account.

  3. Log into the email account with the Vinton email credentials you set up.

  4. Click Continue to share email account info with Vinton and allow Vinton access to the calendar.

  5. Close the dialog box.

 Invite Vinton to a meeting

  1. Start a new meeting invitation from your calendar.

  2. Add your notetaker’s email address as an invitee.

  3. Start your meeting and your notetaker will ask to join. Click Admit to have Vinton record, transcribe and summarise your video meeting.
