New features available in this release:

  • Versioning enhanced with the concept of a “main” version: Each new version of a media asset will automatically became the main version, but the user can revert back to a previous version when required

  • Media player enhancements:

    • Ability to playback a previous version: Directly from the video player, the User can now browse and play previous versions

    • Configurable Context Menu: Apply a custom label and your own URL to the context menu, displayed when the User has right clicked on a media

    • Advanced Watermarks: Ability to select two colours, the steps for the interpolation and the opacity, so that watermarks can be applied to both light and dark backgrounds

  • Multiple audio and video uploader enhancements:

    • Versioning-Ready: specify the "versioningJunctionId" an existing junction record that needs to be updated. When the "versioningJunctionId" is specified the multiple uploader accepts just one file

    • Custom look and feel: specify an icon, custom CSS for the button and its container

    • Cancel a running upload: the User can stop the upload of a selected media

  • New Video attributes: storing the locale language of the running user that has uploaded the Video, as well as the actual size of an uploaded file
